The containers do not fold, but they can be stacked to create additional height and more flexible cover.

Game compatibility

The Gothic Ruins Foldable Terrain Set is scaled for 28mm and 32mm science-fiction miniature wargames.

Its sizes, terrain variety, and overall battlefield coverage make it compatible with Warhammer 40,000 11th Edition-style terrain layouts. It can also be used with other compatible science-fiction wargames, narrative campaigns, club games, custom missions, and tournament-style layouts.

This is an independently produced terrain collection. It is not an official Games Workshop product.

Optional carrying and storage case

The optional storage case is designed around Fabricator’s Lair’s folding terrain system. It keeps the collapsed 3D terrain organized and makes the collection easier to store and transport.

Printed in one coordinated filament color for a clean and functional appearance.

Full-Color Storage Case — Add $75

Printed using multiple coordinated filament colors to highlight the case’s details and provide a more complete presentation.

The case is also available separately for customers who already own compatible Fabricator’s Lair folding terrain.

Important: The storage case holds the folding 3D terrain pieces only. It is not designed to hold the optional footprint templates. If you purchase both add-ons, the templates must be stored and transported separately.

Optional terrain footprint templates

Add a complete set of matching full-table footprint templates to make setting up your battlefield faster and more consistent.

The templates remain underneath the 3D terrain during play, clearly marking each terrain feature’s intended boundaries. If a building is temporarily moved, the original terrain area remains visible.

Every folding terrain structure arrives completely assembled. Its folding mechanisms are installed and checked before the set is packaged.

Materials and construction

Each terrain set is produced using durable PLA filament. PLA provides detailed surfaces, structural rigidity, and a wide selection of colors for tabletop terrain.

Small layer lines, seams, and minor surface variations are normal characteristics of additive manufacturing. These details do not affect gameplay or the intended folding function.

As with most PLA products, the terrain should not be stored in excessive heat or left inside a hot vehicle for extended periods.
